Creative Jam 2025 Project

As someone relatively new to the town, I'm grateful this creative jam allowed me to meet and collaborate with Heidi! We share a bond through our personal creative journey from perfectionism to fun and freedom, and that's the core of what we wanted to convey in this short animation.

Even the process behind this animation has been quite freeing; it has low stakes, minimal feedback, and just going with the flow, from the art styles to the animation techniques. Just enjoying the journey! And it's something we can both be incredibly proud of!

All of the background assets, fish, birds, and dragonflies have been beautifully hand-painted by Heidi Bartels.
The tortoise rig and animation have been done by me, along with the storyboard you can find below.
